Furniture moves

Single-piece & heavy furniture moves across LA & OC

Not every move is a whole house. Sometimes you just bought a sectional that will not fit through the door, inherited a heavy armoire, or need a refrigerator carried up to a third-floor unit. We move furniture by the piece across Los Angeles and Orange County — one item or a roomful — without making you book and pay for a full move you do not need.

We handle the heavy and the awkward: sofas and sectionals, beds and mattresses, dressers and armoires, dining tables, appliances, gun safes, gym equipment, pool tables, and large artwork or mirrors. Each piece is padded, wrapped, and strapped, and we protect your floors, walls, and door frames on the way through.

We are a Pasadena-based crew working the whole LA and OC region. Book with us for a single-item move, a furniture-store or marketplace pickup, or rearranging heavy pieces inside your home — and skip the rental truck, the borrowed dolly, and the sore back.

Why choose us

Why hire movers for just a few pieces

A single heavy item is exactly where people get hurt or damage their home. Here is what you get instead.

No full move required

One piece, a few pieces, or a single room — we size the job to what you actually need. You are not forced into booking and paying for a whole-home move.

The right equipment

Appliance dollies, furniture straps, ramps, and padding — the gear that turns a back-breaking, wall-scratching job into a quick, clean one. No borrowed dolly required.

Floors & walls protected

We pad door frames, lay floor runners, and wrap every piece. Heavy items get moved without the gouged floors and scuffed walls that come with dragging them yourself.

Fast & flat-priced

Most single-piece moves take under an hour or two, and we quote a flat price up front. No vague hourly meter on a quick job.

How it works

Three steps to move that heavy piece

From quote to placed-in-the-room, usually same week.

01

Tell us the piece

What it is, where it is, and where it is going — including stairs, doorways, and any tight turns. Use the form above or call (626) 600-0341 for a flat quote.

02

We bring the gear

Dollies, straps, padding, and the right-size crew for the weight and the route. Single heavy items often need two movers and the proper equipment.

03

Wrapped, moved & placed

We protect it and your home, move it safely, and set it exactly where you want it. In-home repositioning is the same easy process.

What we move

The heavy, awkward & oversized

If it is too big, too heavy, or too valuable to move yourself, we move it. A few of the most common.

Sofas, sectionals & beds

Big upholstered pieces that will not fit through a doorway without finesse. We wrap them, angle them through tight spaces, and place them where you want them.

Dressers, armoires & tables

Solid-wood case goods and dining sets are heavier than they look. We pad corners and edges, protect the finish, and carry them without dragging or dinging.

Appliances

Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ranges moved with appliance dollies and straps — including up and down stairs. We disconnect-ready and protect the unit and your floors.

Safes, gym & pool tables

Gun safes, weight equipment, and pool tables are some of the heaviest items in a home. We bring the gear and crew to move them safely — these are not a two-friends job.

Artwork, mirrors & glass

Large framed pieces, mirrors, and glass tabletops wrapped and crated as needed, and handled so nothing chips, scratches, or cracks in transit.

Single-item & store pickups

Bought something from a store, warehouse, or marketplace? We pick it up and deliver it — no need to rent a truck or talk a friend into helping.

Prepare

How to prepare for your furniture move

A short checklist that keeps moving day on schedule and prevents the most common surprises.

01

Book early

Weekends and month-end dates fill up fast. Same-day is available, but booking 2-3 weeks ahead gives you the best crew options.

02

Get it in writing

Your booking confirmation should list date, arrival window, crew size, both addresses, and the agreed hourly rate. No surprises later.

03

Pack non-essentials first

Books, decor, closet items, off-season clothes — pack these days ahead. Label every box by room to speed up unloading.

04

Keep valuables with you

Jewelry, cash, passports, laptops, hard drives, medications, and house keys travel in your car — never the truck.

05

Reserve truck parking

Gated Mission Viejo communities need gate-guard clearance and a reserved move-in window — coordinate with your HOA 5-7 days ahead instead of a city permit.

06

Talk to your building manager

Mission Viejo HOAs and condo buildings often have move-in windows, elevator reservations, and COI requirements. Call your HOA ahead so move day isn't held up at the gate or the front desk.

07

Update your address

USPS mail forwarding, bank, employer, subscriptions, delivery apps, and the DMV — knock these out the week before the move.

08

Clear walkways

Hallways, doorways, stairs, and the path from front door to truck. Quick prep that saves real time on move day.

09

Set utilities up early

Schedule Santa Margarita Water District and SoCalGas to turn on at the new place the day before — so you walk into a working home.

10

Pack a "first night" box

Chargers, toiletries, towels, sheets, snacks, basic tools, and a change of clothes. Keep it with you so you're not unpacking at 11pm.

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see yours? Call (626) 600-0341.

Will you move just one piece of furniture?
Yes — single-item moves are one of the most common jobs we do. A sofa that will not fit, a refrigerator up to a third floor, a safe that is too heavy to risk. We size the crew and price to the one piece, so you are not paying for a full move. Call (626) 600-0341 and tell us the item.
How much does it cost to move a single piece of furniture?
It depends on the item, the weight, and the access on both ends (stairs, doorways, distance). Most single-piece moves are quick and quoted as a flat price up front. A ground-floor sofa across town costs less than a safe carried down two flights — tell us the details and we give you the total before we start.
Can you move appliances like refrigerators and washers?
Yes. We move refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ranges with appliance dollies and straps, including up and down stairs. Have them disconnected and emptied/defrosted ahead of time, and we will handle the heavy carrying and protect your floors and doorways on the way.
Do you move pool tables, safes, and gym equipment?
Yes — these are some of the heaviest items in a home and exactly the kind of thing you should not move yourself. We bring the right crew size and equipment. Note that slate pool tables may need to be disassembled and re-leveled (and a billiards specialist for felt/re-leveling); we will tell you up front what your table needs.
Can you pick up furniture I bought from a store or online?
Yes. We do store, warehouse, and marketplace pickups all the time — you buy it, we pick it up and deliver it to your door and into the room. No truck rental, no roping in a friend with a pickup. Just send us the pickup address and the item.
Can you move heavy furniture within my home?
Yes. In-home moves are common — rearranging a room, moving a piece to another floor, or clearing heavy items for new flooring or paint. Same careful process, no truck needed. It beats risking your back or your floors moving a 300-pound piece yourself.
