How much do movers cost in Los Angeles and Orange County?
Local moves are billed hourly by crew size. Two movers and a truck are $118/hour, three movers $154/hour, and four movers $198/hour, with a 3-hour minimum. Each additional mover is $40/hour. See full pricing on our
rates page. The clock runs from arrival at pickup to finish at drop-off, and we give you a clear estimate up front so there are no surprises.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Every move has a 3-hour minimum, which covers most studio and one-bedroom moves. If your move runs longer, you're only billed for the actual time worked after that. We'll share our best estimate of total hours when we quote your move.
What's included in the hourly rate?
Everything for the move itself: the truck, the crew, moving blankets, shrink wrap, tape, dollies, straps, and basic furniture disassembly and reassembly. We don't add separate fees for stairs, elevators, or fuel within our service area. You pay for the crew size you book plus any extra movers you request.
Do you charge extra for stairs, long walks, or heavy items?
No surprise charges. Stairs, elevators, and longer carries are part of the job within our service area. For unusually heavy or specialty items, like a piano, our
piano movers handle it with the right crew and equipment. We talk anything unusual through when you book, so the estimate is right.
What areas do you serve?
Can you do same-day or next-day moves?

How do I get a quote?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and Zelle. Payment is due when the move is complete. If you pay by card, any small processing fee is shown before we charge it. We'll go over the final total with you before payment so it matches the work done.
Are you open on weekends and holidays?
Yes. We're open seven days a week, 7am to 10pm, including most weekends. Weekends and the end of the month are our busiest times, so booking ahead helps lock in your preferred slot.
Do you offer packing services?
Yes. Our
packing services can cover your whole home or just the tricky parts, like kitchens, closets, and fragile items, and we bring the materials. Packing can be added to any move; just mention it when you book. You're also welcome to pack yourself and have us handle the move.
How far ahead should I book?
For weekday moves, a few days' notice is usually plenty. For weekends, the start or end of the month, or large homes, book a week or more ahead when you can. That said, we keep room for same-day and last-minute moves, so it's always worth a call.
Is there anything you can't move?
For safety and legal reasons, we can't transport hazardous materials such as gas, propane, paint thinner, fireworks, or ammunition, and we can't take live plants, animals, or perishable food. We also ask you to carry valuables yourself: cash, jewelry, documents, and prescriptions. Everything else, we've got.
